I think all the videos YouTube are people doing stupid things. Is it really useful for marketing a real website or not?
It's possible. There are independent artists on YouTube that have their websites (like MySpace) and when they publish their videos on YouTube, viewers who find interest in these unsigned artists will be interested in seeing most of them by clicking their website link.
