Is it easier to rank well with a dot COM domain name as opposed to a point in the domain of television, Google or Yahoo!?
I two domain names differently, one is a dot com and the other a TV point. Point the domain name is television, for example – white (dot) TV and names dot com domain – theblank (dot) com. The TV point name is shorter and easier to remember, but I do not use it if I'm going to sacrifice the Internet traffic because to poor search engine ranking. The site is essentially media content and so I chose the TV extension point. Is there anyone out there has advice or experiences on this subject?
To my knowledge, DOT COM is generally done better in qualifying TV points. The general public is more aware and used to dot com. But this is not the only thing that will affect their ranking on Google. Also consider the amount Advertising your site too. Be sure to consult an SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and the company is able to increase ranking on Google and every other search engine.
